Shana Morgan is the Global Head of AI & Privacy at L3Harris Technologies, a Fortune 250 aerospace and defense company operating in more than 100 countries. She built and leads the enterprise-wide AI governance and global privacy programs, overseeing governance design, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional implementation in a highly regulated, security-sensitive environment. Following one of the largest mergers in U.S. aerospace and defense history, Shana led the integration and scaling of L3Harris’s global privacy program, harmonizing policies, systems, and practices across diverse regulatory jurisdictions.

In 2026, Shana was awarded the IAPP Vanguard Award (North America),  recognizing her leadership and contributions to building the foundation of privacy, AI governance, cybersecurity law, and digital responsibility. A recognized leader in privacy and AI governance, she serves as IAPP Faculty and as a member of the AIGP Training Advisory Board, helping shape the evolution of global AI governance education and professional standards.

Shana regularly speaks at leading industry events, and her work has been featured in publications and podcasts advancing dialogue on Indigenous data sovereignty, collective privacy rights, ethical innovation, and responsible AI.  

A U.S. and Cherokee Nation citizen who spent her formative years in Germany, Shana brings a multicultural perspective to technology governance—bridging enterprise execution with thought leadership on emerging regulatory frameworks and helping organizations navigate responsible innovation in an evolving digital landscape.
